Financial Notice to Improve - 8th June 2018

The Heath Family (NW) has, like many other Trusts and education providers across the country, been experiencing increasing financial strain and pressure over recent times. To address this and, following a proactive approach by the Trust to the ESFA in the early stages of this academic year, the Trust and its schools have been working towards a more stable and more sustainable financial model to follow in the future. As a consequence of this dialogue with the ESFA, backed up with demonstrating The Heath Family (NW)'s ability to implement such financial models for the next and subsequent academic years, the ESFA have approved the Trust recovery plan and are supporting The Heath Family (NW) by way of a loan. This support comes with certain conditions and restrictions, as well as more regular reporting of the Trusts financial position to the ESFA. The details are summarised in the Trust’s Financial Notice to Improve (a link to which can be found below).

With ongoing positive interaction with all relevant stakeholders, The Heath Family (NW) is confident that the measures within the recovery plan will enable the Trust to continue the work of improving educational outcomes for the students of all schools whilst being on a sound financial footing to sustain this in the future.

The best thing about being a student at The Heath is that all the teachers care and push you to do your best so you do well in life and later in school. Also if you have an issue it is always sorted out by either your form tutor or caring teachers.
